October 9 - 10 Washington DC
The BoardSource Leadership Forum (BLF) is the nations largest annual convening of nonprofit board leaders. Every year, we gather more than 700 board members, chief executives, staff, and nonprofit professionals for two days to discuss the newest thinking and best practices in nonprofit governance. Through plenary sessions, workshops, discussions, debates, presentations, and networking events, our participants learn how to guide their organizations toward greater impact and mission fulfillment.
Nonprofit board members, chief executives, staff, funders, corporate social responsibility leaders, researchers, and consultants committed to building effective nonprofit boards, and, in turn, strengthening nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.
Speakers at the BoardSource Leadership Forum have always been among the most influential and knowledgeable in the nonprofit sector. They are inspiring leaders who are catalyzing change; researchers and consultants who are on the front-line of understanding effective governance and its influence on mission impact; and board chairs, board members, and chief executives who have led their organization to extraordinary heights.
Past speakers and presenters have included:
Tim King, founder and president & CEO, Urban Prep Academies Billy Shore, founder and CEO, Share our Strength Peter Kim, manager, Bridgespan Hildy Gottlieb, co-founder, Creating the Future Heather McLeod Grant, co-author, Forces for Good Sterling Spiern, former president & CEO, W.K.
