      • Assessment of the Chief Executive (ACE). This online tool helps a nonprofit avoid risks associated with poor chief executive performance. It enables an organization to survey board members and receive an objective summary of their input on chief executive performance.  A BoardSource consultant can also provide an analytical report based on the results of the assessment.

    • Educational Programs. To be exceptional, boards should be composed of board members who are educated about governance. Individuals need resources and information to empower and prepare them for board service. This includes education in areas such as board member roles and responsibilities, financial oversight, fiduciary duties, and board structure. BoardSource governance consultants are prepared to help educate your board in all of these areas and can present any of our standard training workshops  in-person or as Webinars.

    • Customized “On Demand” Online Training Program. BoardSource can develop on-demand, self-paced, e-learning offerings that are customized for your grantees.   Participants fully control this learning experience and can access the training at their convenience.  Your foundation can purchase or license this content to distribute to your grantee network.
